Indigo has proven to be the most dependable variety of radicchio in our trials, whether it's during hot or cool weather. It exhibits exceptional uniformity and has a high potential for yield in summer harvests. Indigo is particularly impressive for its ability to form well-formed heads, as well as its resistance to tipburn and bottom rot. The heads are approximately 4-5 inches in diameter and have a rich burgundy color that adds to its appeal. Not only is Indigo suitable for spring and fall production, but it also performs well during the summer months. Additionally, we offer Indigo with NOP-compliant pelleting for those who prefer organic options.
