Small peppers have a moderate level of spiciness, ranging from 5000 to 15000 heat units. As they mature, they change from yellow to bright red. Typically, they are picked when they reach full maturity, which takes around 75 days after transplanting. Once harvested, they can be dried and crushed to make Paprika spice.
