The productive Cubanelle pepper variety is ideal for frying. These fruits, which are cylindrical in shape with lobed ends, have an average size of 7-8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. They are commonly used in their unripe state when they have a light green color, although they can also be used when they turn red. The Cubanelle pepper is highly sought after in Caribbean cuisine due to its exceptional frying qualities.
