Cilantro or Coriander is an annual plant that is sensitive to frost and grows up to 18 to 36 inches tall. It has finely divided leaves that resemble flat-leafed parsley, which are also known as cilantro. During spring and summer, it produces tiny white to pale pink flower clusters. In late summer, the plant sets small round, ribbed, beige-colored seeds.
