Latin Name -- Glebionis coronaria var. Oasis

Chrysanthemum Greens Color -- Solid green, deeply lobed leaves. Daisy-like yellow, white, or orange flowers.

Chrysanthemum Greens Flavor -- Foliage tastes distinct and tangy which intensifies as the plant ages. The flowers taste mild but lightly bitter.

Days to Maturity -- 40-50 Days

Row Spacing -- 12 inches

Plant Height -- 4-12"

Growth Habit -- Bushy, branching habit with tall flower stalks.

Soil Preference -- Fertile, well balanced soil with good moisture retention.

Temperature Preference -- 50-70℉

Light Preference -- Full shade to part sun. Too much sun increases bitterness in flavor.

Shungiku-

Aromatic, deeply lobed chrysanthemum greens.Cut greens when about 4-8" tall for a flavorful addition to salads, vegetables, pickles, and sushi. Edible, small, orange and yellow chrysanthemum flowers appear later on unharvested plants. This is the preferred "fine" or "small" leaf strain.
